A young boy named Sora was there with all his friends. Tidus, Waka, Selphy, and his two special friends Kairi and Riku. One day, a mysterious door opened leading in many horrifying creatures called Heartless. Riku entered the door without fear or remorse, as Kairi went missing and Sora was cast off into a world unknown. Meanwhile, at a beautiful castle a King has also gone missing, and a message was left behind for the Castle Magician Donald Duck, and the Captain of the Royal Guard Goofy, to go find the "key". The boy Sora, had to fight off many Heatless, with a mysterious weapon called the "Key Blade". Donald and Goofy found the "Key" as they teamed up and went to many different worlds fighting villans and trying to find Sora's close friends, Kairi and Riku. Finally the boss was found as the main enemy was a man named Ansem. Riku was found by his side as a follower of the darkness, as Kairi was used as the final Princess to open the Door to Darkness. After a brutal fight, Ansem was defeated and the door to Kingdom Hearts was open. With the help of Riku and King Mickey on the other side of the door, Sora was able to close the door to Kingdom Hearts and seal it away. But, as everything was beginning to change, Sora told Kairi as he was flying away that someday, and somehow he will find her... After sealing the door to Kingdom Hearts, the three begin searching for Riku and King Mickey. They encounter a mysterious fortress called Castle Oblivion. Upon entering the fortress, they begin to lose their memories. The three encounter a group of dark hooded villains referred to as the Organization. After defeating the Organization members in the castle, Sora learns his memories have been manipulated by a girl named Naminé who is controlled by the Organization. To allow them to regain their memories, Naminé puts Sora, Donald, and Goofy to sleep for a year. While the three are ascending to the top floor of the castle, Riku and King Mickey arrive in the basement and began traveling to the top as well. Riku fights the darkness in his heart and learns to accept his dual nature between light and dark... A year later, Sora, Donald, and Goofy awaken and continue their search for Riku and King Mickey. They learn of the Nobodies and their leaders, Organization XIII. Afterwards, Maleficent is resurrected and joins with Pete, another villain, to continue her quest for power. Sora once again travels to many worlds and resolves the troubles caused by Organization XIII, the Heartless, Maleficent and Pete, and local villains. Meanwhile, Kairi is kidnapped by the Organization. They meet King Mickey, who reveals the true nature of Ansem, the antagonist of Kingdom Hearts. The Ansem who Sora defeated was actually the Heartless of Xehanort, a student of Ansem the Wise. Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, reveals himself to be the Nobody of Xehanort. The three arrive at the headquarters of Organization XIII, with Kingdom Hearts looming overhead. Many battles took place as Kairi finally found Sora and fought along side a mysterious hooded figure to stay alive. The hooded figure revealed himself and looked exactly like Xehanort, but was really Riku as he had entered the darkness and taken his figure. Ansem the Wise uses a device that dissipates some of Kingdom Hearts's power, but a system overload causes the machine to explode and kill Ansem, but returning Riku to his former self. At the top of Organization XIII's castle, Sora and his friends battle Xemnas, who uses the remnants of Kingdom Hearts to fight them. After Xemnas's death, It has come to Sora's attention that Roxas is his nobody, as Namine is Kairi's nobody, and they live on inside them. Sora and Riku are reunited with their friends at estiny Islands, their home with Kairi, King Mickey, Donald, and Goofy. A day later, Kairi found a bottle on the beach, and inside a letter from the king. Sora took it out and read it... The letter read: "Dear Sora, Riku, and Kairi. It has come to my attention that a prophecy told by Yen Sid, is in need of our attention. He Has spoken of millions of Key Blade weilders in time, but only 3 will become the masters of the Key Blades power. It has also come to my attention that in our recent battles, Kairi has become a weilder, leading me to believe that you three are the somehow connected to the Masters. But be warned, a new threat will be introduced into our Universe soon, and my power alone will not be enough to hold it off. Donald and Goofy are with me at the Palace as we will be off to find this hidden power, and see if we can take action to it before it gets its hands on you three. Sincerely, "The King" Immediatly Sora, Riku, and Kairi ran to the hidden door, and opened it to begin a new journey to see if the Prophecy is true. Are they connected to the 3 known as the "Key Blade Masters" However, they ran head first into a war.
